The Sorento Has Some Stylistic Upgrades For 2025
We’ll start with what’s new for the latest model. You may already be familiar with the Sorento X-Pro and X-Line trims being a couple of the most popular models among daring adventurers and those who simply have good taste. For 2025, these two Sorento trims will feature gloss black badging in the front and back fascia, the wheels, and the tailgate. While this may seem like a minor change, those who understand style know that even the smallest accents can go a long way in crafting an entire look.
You’ll have sleek and glossy black badging to admire all around the new Sorento X-Line and X-Pro models, but that’s not all that’s waiting for you just down the road. Another major change for 2025 is the decision to replace the Gravity Gray exterior paint option with the all-new Panthera Metal color that’s said to be more striking than its predecessor. We’re excited about the Sorento’s style updates to look forward to, but we’re especially excited to see that this popular SUV will continue to offer the top-quality ride that we admire. And, as usual, the 2025 Sorento will continue to offer hybrid and plug-in hybrid options as well.

Two Incredible Powertrains
For the 2025 Sorento gas model, you’ll still be able to choose between the standard 2.5L 4-cylinder with 191 horsepower and the upgraded 2.5L Turbo with 281 horsepower. Both are built on an 8-speed transmission with the AWD models being able to tow up to 4,500 pounds. These specs for the 2024 Sorento played a huge part in its overall success, and we’re glad to see that we still get to enjoy these incredible powertrains for the 2025 model year.
Outstanding Fuel Ratings
The next best thing about the Sorento is the fuel rating, and we’re relieved to say the mileage is still as incredible as you remember it. The 2025 Sorento still promises up to 23 in-city and 31 highway miles per gallon which is hard to beat for a ride of its size.
