​This summer was a special one for all of us at Kia of Bedford.
In July, our team had the opportunity to present a $10,000 check to FOX 8 News' Stuff the Bus campaign, supporting Shoes and Clothes for Kids and helping children across Northeast Ohio get ready to head back to school.
We were incredibly proud to be part of it. But we also want to make one thing clear: this wasn't just our donation. It was yours, too.
Every vehicle purchased from Kia of Bedford, every visit to our service department, and every customer who continues to choose and recommend our dealership helps make things like this possible.
Helping Northeast Ohio Kids Start the School Year Right
Back-to-school season can be expensive. New shoes, clothes, backpacks, supplies — it adds up quickly, especially for families with more than one child.
That's why programs like FOX 8's Stuff the Bus are so important. The campaign brings local businesses, organizations, and people throughout Northeast Ohio together to make sure more kids have what they need when the first day of school arrives.
Our $10,000 donation went to support Shoes and Clothes for Kids, an organization that helps provide local children with essential clothing and footwear.
For us, seeing the campaign up close and getting the chance to present the check made the experience even more meaningful. We were also glad to help shine a little more attention on a cause that directly supports families right here in our area.
This Donation Belongs to Our Customers, Too
We may have been the ones holding the check, but our customers are the reason we were able to write it.
Kia of Bedford serves drivers from Bedford, Cleveland, Bedford Heights, Maple Heights, Beachwood, and communities all across Northeast Ohio. Many of our customers have been coming to us for years. Some have purchased multiple vehicles here. Others trust our service team to keep their cars on the road.
That support matters.
It gives us the ability to do more than sell and service cars. It gives us the opportunity to give something back to the same community that has supported Kia of Bedford.
Being #1 Means More Than Selling Cars
We're proud to be the #1 Kia dealership in Ohio. Of course we are. Our team works hard for that every single day.
But being #1 can't only be about how many vehicles we sell.
For us, it also means asking what kind of impact we can have outside the dealership. Can we help local families? Can we support kids in our community? Can we use the success our customers have given us to do something positive for Northeast Ohio?
The Stuff the Bus campaign gave us one more opportunity to say yes.
